INTRODUCTORY QUESTIONS (EXCERPT)

This short film takes 6 questions from an admission questionnaire for undocumented minors that cross the US border unaccompanied. Although there are technically no right or wrong answers, based on these responses a child might or might not be granted access to a legal process and avoid deportation.

The film alludes to critical spaces of the latinamerican migratory phenomenon –airports and the desert between Sonora and Arizona– and emulates motion detector cameras, thermal imagery, other remote-sensing technologies and the paranoid infrastructure that constitutes contemporary transit zones.
